A recent BCG (Boston Consulting Group) report identified 40 African corporations that are establishing "a dynamic international presence". The report also pointed out that a group of the eight strongest African economies has a per-capita gross domestic product surpassing that of the BRIC group (Brazil, Russia, India, China).
"Many African companies," says the report "are unencumbered by legacy assets and business models." This presents great advantages for mobile-only telephone services and electronic banking, to name only two examples. For more information, please click on the www.bcg.com link below
